Ferrari F8 Spider

The F8 is Maranello's definitive tribute to its legendary V8, an engine many consider the finest the company has ever built, and the Spider takes that send-off open-topped. Aerodynamically it was extensively reworked over the car it replaced: redesigned intakes and diffusers generate 15% more downforce than the 488 GTB without adding drag. The latest Side Slip Angle Control (SSC 6.1) lets the driver explore the limit with confidence, allowing small, intuitive slides.

The design marries modernity with references to Ferrari's own history. The louvred rear screen, drawn from the F40, is not only a styling gesture - it helps the engine shed heat. The new horizontal LED headlights integrate brake-cooling intakes, a functional as much as a visual evolution. Performance is emphatic: 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 200 km/h in 7.8 seconds and a top speed of 340 km/h, delivered through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox whose shifts are effectively instantaneous.
