About the Abarth 695
The 695 name goes back to Carlo Abarth's own tuned Fiat 500s of the 1960s, and Abarth revived it for the modern 500-based hatchback launched in 2008. Power comes from a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, tuned in the 695 to sit above the standard 595 in Abarth's own three-tier range, with outputs that have grown over the years from around 180hp to well over 200hp in the most focused versions.
What sets the 695 apart is Abarth's habit of releasing small-batch special editions — Biposto, Tributo 131, Rivale, 70° Anniversario and others — each with its own mechanical or cosmetic differences, making the model a genuine collector's field within modern Fiat/Abarth ownership. Underneath the playful styling and scorpion badge is a proper hot hatch: short wheelbase, quick steering, and a soundtrack that's part of the appeal.
