Dealer verification
How a dealer becomes verified
Dealers apply through the dealer application form, providing their company name, business website, contact details and expected monthly listing volume. From there, verification is a hands-on process, not a box-ticking exercise: we research the company — its registration, its public website, its history and reputation — and speak with the dealer directly before their profile ever goes live. A profile is only published and marked verified once we're satisfied it's a real, reachable business operating under the name shown.
What the verified badge means
A verified dealer profile confirms that ITALSPEC has reviewed the business behind it: it is a real, reachable company with a genuine website, operating under the name shown on its profile.
What it doesn't guarantee
Verification is a check on the dealer as a business, not an inspection, warranty or endorsement of any individual vehicle. ITALSPEC does not inspect cars in person, verify service history documents, or guarantee condition, mileage or ownership. Buyers should always inspect a car (or arrange an independent inspection) and review its documentation directly with the seller before purchase.
