About the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti

Launched in 2004 as the successor to the 456M, the 612 took its name from Carrozzeria Scaglietti, the coachbuilder that hand-built Ferrari bodies from the 1950s onward and remains part of Ferrari's group today. Under the longer, more upright 2+2 body sits Ferrari's 5.75-litre V12 and, for the first time on a four-seat Ferrari, an all-aluminium spaceframe chassis.

It's a genuinely usable car by V12 Ferrari standards — real rear seats, a large boot, and a chassis engineered specifically around comfortable long-distance travel rather than outright lap times — making it one of the more practical ways into a naturally aspirated V12 Ferrari, and the direct predecessor to the FF and GTC4Lusso that followed it.
