Ferrari California for sale

Launched in 2008, the California opened a genuinely new segment for Ferrari: a more accessible, everyday-usable front-engine V8 convertible, positioned below the mid-engine berlinettas, aimed partly at owners moving up from other luxury brands rather than lifelong Ferrari buyers. The retractable hardtop gave coupé-like refinement with true open-top capability at the touch of a button.

Underneath, the California introduced Ferrari's first dual-clutch (rather than single-clutch F1) automated gearbox and direct fuel injection on the 4.3-litre V8 — technology that subsequently spread across the rest of the range. As the model that broadened Ferrari's customer base more than perhaps any other in the brand's history, the California remains one of the more affordable and usable entry points into modern Ferrari ownership.
